CRAFTSMANSHIP

Craftsmanship —
teeth deserve nothing less

Golden Eight, our laminate program, pursues precision at every step — from preparing the teeth to fabrication and bonding. Rather than mass-produced veneers, each one is crafted with your oral condition and harmony with neighboring teeth in mind.

01

Just ten pieces a day

We do not rush. Daily production is capped so each piece gets full attention.

02

Minimal tooth reduction

We shape only as much as needed and keep as much of your tooth as possible.

03

As natural as your own teeth

Each one is matched to the color, translucency and shape of the surrounding teeth.

3D intraoral scanning for fewer errorsDIGITAL SCAN

3D intraoral scanning for fewer errors

To avoid the distortion that impression putty can cause, the TRIOS intraoral scanner captures everything digitally and sends it straight to our in-house lab.

Precise in-house fabricationIN-HOUSE LAB

Precise in-house fabrication

Experienced technicians make each piece in our own Design Lab, talking directly with the treating dentist to fine-tune it for you.

MATERIALS

Proven materials,
chosen tooth by tooth

Even for laminates, the right material depends on tooth color, how much is reduced and bite force. We decide on the most suitable one together after diagnosis.

e.max Press

Pressed all-ceramic

An all-ceramic that combines esthetics and strength. It reproduces the blend of opacity and translucency of natural teeth — even the way light diffuses — and its uniform strength keeps it durable even when thin.

Best forLaminates where you want to minimize tooth reduction

e.max Ceram

Layered ceramic

A ceramic with translucency and color close to natural teeth, built up layer by layer by the technician. It brings out subtle depth of color such as a translucent incisal edge, and is durable.

Best forFront teeth that need delicate color and translucency matching

PFZ

Porcelain fused to zirconia

Porcelain built over a zirconia framework. Unlike PFM with its metal framework, there is no metal in the mouth, so it is biocompatible — strong, and blending naturally with neighboring teeth.

Best forHeavily discolored teeth or teeth under strong bite forces

Ceramic is a porcelain material, so the material itself does not discolor. If you grind your teeth, we also provide an occlusal splint to reduce wear on the restorations.

SEOUL KWON DESIGN LAB

Finding the unique color of your teeth,
in our own lab

Design Lab is the in-house dental laboratory inside Seoul Kwon Dental Clinic. Following the dentist’s diagnosis and design, it makes and repairs implant restorations, laminates and crowns. Because the dentist and the technician work in the same space, any problem with a restoration can be corrected right away.

How a restoration is made

  1. 01

    STEP 01

    Tooth and mouth analysis

The TRIOS 3D intraoral scanner captures your teeth digitally and precisely, reducing the distortion that can occur with impression putty.

  2. 02

    STEP 02

    Clinical check and photos

The dentist and technician take photos together to understand tooth color and harmony with the neighboring teeth.

  3. 03

    STEP 03

    CAD design

Based on the 3D scan data, a shape and bite close to natural teeth are designed.

  4. 04

    STEP 04

    Finishing and final inspection

After high-temperature firing and pressing, the restoration is carefully refined and stained to match your real tooth color. The finished piece is checked once more.

TEETH WHITENING

Brighter teeth,
without drilling

Whitening uses a whitening agent to break down pigments inside the teeth and return them to a lighter shade — without removing any tooth. We check for cavities and gum problems first, then choose the method.

IN-OFFICE

In-office whitening

Whitening at the clinic

  • —After protecting the gums, a professional whitening agent is applied to the tooth surface.
  • —Several sessions may be done depending on your teeth and the shade you want.
  • —Suits those who want to see a change in a short time.

HOME

At-home whitening

Whitening at home

  • —We make whitening trays fitted to your teeth.
  • —You fill them with a low-concentration agent and wear them for a set time.
  • —Teeth brighten gradually; also used to maintain in-office results.

Good to know before whitening

  • Whitening brightens natural teeth. It does not change the color of existing resin fillings, crowns or laminates.
  • Teeth may feel sensitive during or just after treatment; this usually settles within a few days.
  • Results vary with the cause of discoloration (medication, nerve damage, etc.); in such cases we may discuss laminates as well.
  • Cutting back on coffee, tea, wine and smoking, and keeping up regular care, helps the brighter shade last longer.
