WHY SEOUL KWON

University-hospital-level care
in a hotel-like setting

Surgical drill kit used for implant placement01

Surgery performed by an oral & maxillofacial surgeon

Our director is a board-certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon who completed his residency at SNU Boramae Medical Center, where he now serves as an adjunct professor. Extractions, implants and bone grafts of a difficulty usually handled at university hospitals are available close to home.

Our in-house 3D lab, Design Lab

Prosthetics are the culmination of a dentist’s skill and a direct reflection of the clinic. In our in-house lab, dentists and technicians work together to match the unique color of each patient’s teeth — and if anything needs adjusting, it is fixed right away.

Patient monitor in front of a screen showing a 3D CT scan03

Safe implant surgery under sedation

A 3-way safety protocol with continuous monitoring of oxygen saturation, pulse and ECG. Comfortable care for patients with strong dental anxiety, and for long procedures such as full-arch implants.

Precise diagnosis with 3D CT and an intraoral scanner

We examine the jawbone, nerves and teeth in three dimensions and preview the outcome with computer-simulated surgery. Digital scanning instead of impression putty reduces errors.

PHILOSOPHY

To make a real, lasting
difference in your life

— The five principles of Seoul Kwon Dental Clinic

  1. 01

    Dentists who never stop researching

Our director has published implant research in an international SCI journal and presents clinical studies at academic meetings. We do not stop at following what we were taught — we base our care on evidence from our own research.

  2. 02

Beyond placement, to the final restoration

An implant is not finished once it is placed. Our dentists and technicians stay in constant contact to complete it with a strong, natural-looking restoration.

  3. 03

A team that shares one philosophy

Dentists and hygienists work hand in hand through every step and train to the same standard.

  4. 04

    Up-to-date equipment and materials

Rather than holding on to old ways, we adopt proven advances in technology and put them to work in thorough treatment.

  5. 05

    Kindness that remembers each person

Real kindness means every member of our team remembers the details of each patient and tailors care to them.

SENIOR CLUB

Respectful care
for our parents’ generation

For many parents, the everyday memory of eating without worry may matter more than memories of travel abroad. This is Seoul Kwon Dental Clinic’s care system for patients receiving full-arch implants.

  • 01

    Professional Tooth Cleaning (PTC)

A dedicated hygienist team provides 20–30 minutes of focused care every 3 months — scaling, gum care and disinfection under bridges.

  • 02

    Post-surgery recovery care

A spacious, comfortable recovery room, nutritional and pain-relief injections to support recovery, and meal replacements for those who find eating difficult.

  • 03

    Dental insurance support

An insurance coordinator checks your policy terms, explains what is covered and issues claim documents for you.

  • 04

    General health screening

Blood pressure and blood sugar are checked before implant surgery as standard, with internal-medicine collaboration for added safety.

  • 05

    Family update calls

We personally update your children or spouse on your condition and how the surgery went.

  • 06

    Care program for older adults

Wheelchair assistance, meal replacements and one-on-one care for patients with limited mobility.

  • 07

    A dedicated care manager

One manager stays with you from booking through treatment, precautions, progress checks and aftercare.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We answer every last question, carefully and in full.

Our director, a board-certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon, places implants and full-arch implants himself, while our senior dentists for conservative and prosthodontic care each look after their own field and plan treatment together. Restorations are made in our own in-house lab (Seoul Kwon Design Lab), diagnosis uses 3D CT and an intraoral scanner, and conscious sedation is available. If there is even a 1% chance of saving a natural tooth, we try to save it first; implants come after that.
