STEP 01
Between nerves and excitement
He presented a paper in English to some 50 professors, fellows and students of oral & maxillofacial surgery at Seoul National University.
STEP 02
Moving forward, always learning
He presented a complex implant case as a poster at an Osstem meeting contest held before Seoul National University professors.
STEP 03
A first overseas medical mission
He joined Professor Shin Hyo-Keun — known as “Korea’s Schweitzer” — on an overseas medical mission for children with cleft lip and palate. Some twenty local doctors observed the surgery.
STEP 04
In the oral cancer operating room, National Cancer Center
He took part in oral cancer surgery lasting more than 20 hours at the National Cancer Center with Professor Lee Jong-Ho, a pioneer in the field.
STEP 05
Residency at SNU Boramae Medical Center: a 25-hour record
As a resident, he learned the fundamentals of surgery in an oral cancer operation that ran for 25 hours without a break.
STEP 06
Care across borders: a deployment
During his military service he volunteered for the UN peacekeeping medical unit in Lebanon and continued volunteer care for local residents.
STEP 07
Abroad again, with a Korean dental surgical team
As a member of a Korean dental medical team, he traveled abroad again to perform surgery.
STEP 08
Now, the neighborhood dentist of Garak-dong, Songpa
The experience built in university operating rooms now goes into everyday care for his neighbors in Garak-dong.

SEOUL KWON DESIGN LAB

Finding the unique color of your teeth,
in our own lab

Design Lab is the in-house dental laboratory inside Seoul Kwon Dental Clinic. Following the dentist’s diagnosis and design, it makes and repairs implant restorations, laminates and crowns. Because the dentist and the technician work in the same space, any problem with a restoration can be corrected right away.

How a restoration is made

STEP 01
Tooth and mouth analysis
The TRIOS 3D intraoral scanner captures your teeth digitally and precisely, reducing the distortion that can occur with impression putty.

STEP 02
Clinical check and photos
The dentist and technician take photos together to understand tooth color and harmony with the neighboring teeth.

STEP 03
CAD design
Based on the 3D scan data, a shape and bite close to natural teeth are designed.
04
STEP 04
Finishing and final inspection
After high-temperature firing and pressing, the restoration is carefully refined and stained to match your real tooth color. The finished piece is checked once more.

Seoul Kwon Dental Clinic opens
We began caring for patients in front of Gaerong Station, Garak-dong, Songpa-gu.

The oak-wood lounge and treatment spaces were refreshed for more comfortable care.
